Two of the three mountains surrounding Bansko – Razlog valley resemble the Alps with their rugged peaks, great ridges and panoramic views, yet Pirin and Rila mountains are less known and less visited compared to the most famous European mountain range - the Alps.
Bulgarian mountains' advantages are their bespoke beauty and untouched virginity. One of their greatest assets compared to other places is the untouched, pristine natural beauty. Bansko property owners are buying into a mountainous area, very welcoming during the summer.

A large part of the Pirin mountains has been turned into a National Park. The biosphere reserve is inscribed in UNESCO’s list of World Heritage sites. It extends over 27,000 hectares and covers the high mountain from 1100 to 2,914 m . Pirin National Park is an amazing place with lakes, waterfalls, caves and old pine forests. The rugged mountains with over 176 glacial lakes scattered all over are home to hundreds of rare species.
